E-cigarettes Are Bad For The Lungs And Oral

Is it harmful to your lungs?

Smoking is known to cause damage to the lungs. Long-term inhalation of burning tobacco can lead to lung and esophageal cancer, and lead to a variety of fatal lung diseases, such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). But what about relx pods e-cigarettes?

Cigarette smoke attacks the lungs in several ways. It contains thousands of chemicals, more than 70 of which are known carcinogens. It also contains particulate matter (tiny fragments of burning tobacco and paper) that deposit deep in the lungs and can be buried in tissue.E-cigarettes do not produce known amounts of carcinogens, but risks do exist, not including solid particles such as smoke.

In fact, the most dangerous thing about burning tobacco in relx e cig e-smogging is that it doesn’t exist at all. Because e-cigarettes do not burn, there is no tar or carbon monoxide – the other two main dangers of smoking. Atomization USES heat from the coil to convert the electronic liquid into an inhalable aerosol. It looks like smoke, but it’s not. That said, atomization is not without potential risks to lung health.

There are concerns about the nokiva composition of the electronic liquid: propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, and flavoring. Although extensive studies of PG inhalation in animals have not caused any risk, there have been no serious human studies of the effects of PG or VG inhalation over a long period of time.PG was found to cause minor irritation of the respiratory tract.

Is it harmful to oral health?

Smoking causes and contributes to a variety of oral health problems. Of course, it is well known that smokers have a high risk of developing cancers of the mouth, throat, and esophagus. But  airis vape cigarettes can also cause tooth and periodontal diseases, including gum disease. Cigarette smoke can alter bacteria (the microbiome) in the mouth, making existing periodontal diseases more severe. Little information is available on the medical side effects of e-moyamotization on oral health. A recent review of the literature, published in the Journal of Oral Pathology and Medicine, summarized the state of the science, noting that “the evidence is scant.”

A small existing study suggests that dry herb vaporizer smokers may be increasing the incidence of nicotine stomatitis (which, oddly, is not caused by nicotine), a disease caused by heat that causes damage in the mouth. This is a secondary condition that usually resolves itself when the heat source (usually the pipe) is eliminated.

A small study examined the oral microbiome of 10 smokers, 10 e-cigarette smokers, and 10 non-smokers. The bacterial characteristics of smokers were found to be similar to those of the non-smoking/smoking control group, but there were significant differences in the oral bacterial characteristics of e-cigarette users. The researchers concluded that steam did not change the microbiome. Of course, the study is too small to draw broad conclusions.
